Some destinations become a home away from home. These are the places I know best—and the ones I choose to share.

Hosted Fly Fishing Travel

Bucket-list fly fishing experiences—personally hosted from start to finish.

I travel with small groups during carefully chosen fishing windows, work closely with trusted local partners, and handle the details long before we ever step into the water. The goal is simple: remove uncertainty, maximize the experience, and fish the right places at the right time.

When you travel with me, you can expect:

  • Small groups and peak fishing weeks

  • Detailed preparation and pre-trip Zoom calls

  • Local insight built from years of experience

  • A shared experience with like-minded fly fishers

Below you’ll find my current hosted trips. Each page outlines what makes that destination special and how the trip is structured.

Client Testimonial

Tim Cammisa’s hosted trips to Iceland and Alaska are next level. What sets them apart is how Tim makes you feel like an insider from the moment you arrive. He has access to rivers you’d never find on your own, the right flies for the conditions, and a deep well of knowledge that only comes from years of experience. Whether it's the timing, the techniques, or the little local details, Tim knows what it takes to turn a great fishing trip into an unforgettable experience. If you're looking for more than just a guided trip—if you want a true adventure—you won't find a better host.

Headed to the river in Iceland, this group picture includes all of the anglers and guides. Those smiles say it all!

BENEFITS OF MY GROUP TRAVEL:

  • Zoom Calls - Minimum of 2 recorded calls with entire group to discuss necessary information.

  • Fishing Checklist - Provided for all necessary gear, clothing, and fly options, plus specific recommendations from me for this time of year.

  • Access to outfitter - Ever have questions and it seems the outfitter is too busy to get back to you? I will get your questions answered fully and in a timely manner.

  • Small group - I prefer the feel when there’s less than 10 anglers on a trip, plus my groups have the lodge entirely to ourselves.

  • Experience - Having fly fished all around the world, I’ve seen some of fly fishing’s best destinations at peak season. Use my experience traveling to maximize your chance for an extraordinary experience.

  • Communication - Group members are kept informed with detailed emails. Group members also interact with each other via text and email messaging. Plus, I’m a phone call away, especially for that last-minute question!

  • Professional Outfitter - With lots of outfitters to choose from, this decision can be overwhelming. I work with some of the best outfitters around the world, and select those based on their experience fly fishing, professionalism towards clients, and an incredible level of hospitality.
