Being able to fly fish extensively around the world has led me to many incredible destinations. At favorite places, I’ve dug in and spent lots of time, referring to them as my “home away from home.” Taking a trip with me gets you access to my years of experience, solid connections to premium outfitters, peak dates to fish, and if you ask nicely, maybe a fly or two from my box!

Hosted Fly Fishing Travel

Fly fishing and travel go together, and I have visited locations around the world to chase fish, experience adventure, and learn about new cultures. Some of those places have resonated with me, and it’s those ones that I want to share with you. Taking a group trip with me includes:

  • Access to dialed in fly fishing information

  • Zoom calls to walk you step-by-step through the experience

BENEFITS OF MY GROUP TRAVEL:

Headed to the river in Iceland, this group picture includes all of the anglers and guides. Those smiles say it all!

  • Zoom Calls - Minimum of 2 recorded calls with entire group to discuss necessary information.

  • Fishing Checklist - Provided for all necessary gear, clothing, and fly options, plus specific recommendations from me for this time of year.

  • Access to outfitter - Ever have questions and it seems the outfitter is too busy to get back to you? I will get your questions answered fully and in a timely manner.

  • Small group - I prefer the feel when there’s less than 10 anglers on a trip, plus my groups have the lodge entirely to ourselves.

  • Experience - Having fly fished all around the world, I’ve seen some of fly fishing’s best destinations at peak season. Use my experience traveling to maximize your chance for an extraordinary experience.

  • Communication - Group members are kept informed with detailed emails. Group members also interact with each other via text and email messaging. Plus, I’m a phone call away, especially for that last-minute question!

  • Professional Outfitter - With lots of outfitters to choose from, this decision can be overwhelming. I work with some of the best outfitters around the world, and select those based on their experience fly fishing, professionalism towards clients, and an incredible level of hospitality.

Our 2024 Iceland Trophy group. Fishing with like-minded anglers nearly guarantees that by the end of the week, we’ve established friendships that last years. It was an honor to fish with everyone in this picture. Speaking of which, EVERY angler landed at least two Atlantic salmon!
